Another Great Week for SIR

AMSOIL SHOCK THERAPY HEATS UP FARMINGTON

Farmington, NM-When you’re hot, you’re hot, and lately, Amsoil Shock Therapy has been on fire, adding another dominant weekend to a recent string of dominant weekends in Farmington, New Mexico. Amsoil Shock Therapy won the wheelie, racing, and freestyle competitions at two big shows this past weekend, completing a perfect sweep.

“We had some hard-charging competition,” driver Jon Zimmer said. “I love the equipment I have under me and the support we get from Amsoil and all of our sponsors is amazing. I have full confidence that I get what I need to have weekends like the one the team just had.”

Amsoil Shock Therapy was most hotly contested for wins during the weekend by teammate truck Amsoil Excaliber, driven by Chris Ryan. Amsoil Excaliber and Amsoil Shock Therapy met in the racing finals during one show, with Amsoil Shock Therapy bringing home another trophy.

“Anytime I run Jon hard in racing, I know I’ve done pretty well,” said Ryan. “I learn every week and try to improve, and having Amsoil and Sudden Impact Racing’s full support is exactly what I need to do that.”

Amsoil Shock Therapy and Amsoil Excaliber will look to extend their winning streak next on May 21 in Pendicton, New Brunswick. We will provide updates from there!

TEAM SIR DOES BIG THINGS IN SMALL SPACES

REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN-The floor space in Regina, Saskatchewan for Cult Energy Activator and Redcat Racing Ground Pounder was at a premium, but both drivers brought the best show they could to our neighbors to the north.

“We were able to make the most of what we had and ran hard all weekend,” said Redcat Racing Ground Pounder driver Ben Winslow. “My shocks are a lot better; there’s no better test than landing on concrete after a big jump.”

Those big jumps helped Winslow and teammate Sean Duhon of Cult Energy Activator push their trucks to the limit in freestyle, where competition was unscored. Rest assured that didn’t matter to Redcat Racing Ground Pounder or Cult Energy Activator!

“I got a slap wheelie and felt good about my runs,” said Cult Energy Activator’s Sean Duhon. “One of the tests of a good driver is how well he or she does in small spaces, and I feel like both trucks passed that test this weekend.”

Another trip to a new venue meant more success and exposure for Redcat Racing and Cult Energy via the Ground Pounder and Activator monster trucks, and more success and confidence for Winslow and Duhon.

Cult Energy Activator and Redcat Racing Ground Pounder head to Pendicton, BC next. We will provide updates from there!
