Hometown: Dunnellon, FLDriving for more than 8 years, Steven Hill got his start crewing for a few teams when he was just 14 years old. He started driving at 15 and hasn’t looked back since. He races pretty much anything that has has tires on it – it’s in his blood. He loves competing and is driven to succeed. This is represented in more than 200 wins in his short career. Steven is looking forward to many more wins ahead with the Sudden Impact Racing team.
Hometown: Metairie, LAKeith Ponthieux, known by many as KG. Keith and twin brother, Kevin got their start racing go-carts with a neighbor at age 11. For a short time he was into sand dragging with three wheelers. AT 17, he started drag racing then joined a pro-mod racing team. In between racing and work, he and his brother ran dune buggies, as well as spent time hunting and fishing. Later, he joined good friend, Brandon Lagarde’s Sudden Impact Racing team. Keith established non profit organization Haley’s Kids, an organization for special needs kids. The organization provides the children and their families with the opportunity to ride on a float on Mardi Gras Day at no cost. Keith’s favorite part of racing is watching all the kids around the monster trucks and seeing the excitement in their faces. He looks forward to continuing Haley’s Kids and being around the monster truck industry for many more years to come.
Hometown: Metairie, LAKevin Ponthieux, twin brother of KG Ponthieux is married with four kids. For the past 15 years, he has owned Cajun Landscaping and Lawn Service. In addition to helping his twin brother’s non profit organization, Haley’s Angels, he enjoys camping, fishing and riding on a float Mardi Gras Day with his family and special needs children. Keith started drag racing with his brother and ran dune buggies with good friend, Brandon Lagarde. Kevin joined the Sudden Impact Racing crew and assists the team at events.
