Michael J. Roche, 42 yrs old of New Boston went to the angels on 5-13-2011. He is survived by his parents, William and Patricia Roche of New Boston, his partner Dawn Pawelczyk and daughter Ashley Roche of New Boston, brothers Christopher Roche of Flat Rock and Aron Roche of Livonia and his beloved dogs Max and Oreo. Michael attended Huron Middle and High Schools. Michael was the owner and operator of Expert Marine Services in Belleville from 1999 until 2004 and Extreme Koatings from 2004 until 2007 and was a well known and respected mechanic, welder and fabricator in the New Boston and Belleville areas for the last 20 years. He enjoyed hunting, boating, camping, loved monster trucks and was a sponsor for Sudden Impact Racing. He also enjoyed alternative fuels and was currently working with hydrogen.

Michael’s generous heart will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 5th from 12pm-4pm at Lower Huron Metro Park, East Bend Pavilion. The family is requesting that friends of Michaels speak in his honor from 1-3pm. In lieu of flowers, his partner and daughter will be taking donations that will be used to purchase much needed equipment to be donated in his memory for the Huron HS Auto Shop where Michael discovered his love for being a mechanic and welder.
