Albuquerque, New Mexico-Sudden Impact Racing is on a major roll! Cult Energy Activator swept both nights of racing at Sandia Motor Speedway, where the event was put on to raise money for Tingley Children’s Hospital. Sudden Impact Racing’s Cult Energy Activator and Redcat Racing Ground Pounder not only helped a great cause, they dominated the weekend!
“We had a great time this weekend at Sandia Speedway,” said Cult driver Ben Winslow. “I’m getting more comfortable in the truck, and both (Redcat Racing Ground Pounder’s) Chris Ryan and I did well!”
Cult Energy Activator took home two racing victories in two tries, while Redcat Racing Ground Pounder was a favorite in freestyle the entire weekend, with a nice big air hit on the backside of a large hill on the track. Ground Pounder also took a trip to the racing finals, narrowly losing to Cult Energy Activator.
“It’s been great competing against Ben the last couple of weeks and working alongside him,” Ryan said. “The crowd was really into my freestyle on Friday night; it was awesome having the support of the Redcat Racing Ground Pounder fans!”
The weekend could not have gone any better for Redcat Racing Ground Pounder and Cult Energy Activator, and they look to continue their streak of victories in Warrenton, Michigan on July 9. We will keep you posted!
