Longview – What it’s All About
Longview, Texas-Sudden Impact Racing’s Amsoil Shock Therapy and Amsoil Excaliber continued their winning ways, and also had the support of a very special fan along the way. Every year the monster truck tour comes to Longview, Rowdy is there to support Jon Zimmer and Amsoil Shock Therapy.
“Sometimes it’s not about the wins or the scores or any of that other competition stuff,” said Amsoil Shock Therapy’s Jon Zimmer. “It’s about those fans that support us. Rowdy and his family have treated us great since day one, and it was awesome to be around great fans and friends like them.”
Bolstered by the support, it was Amsoil Excaliber’s turn to shine in racing after Amsoil Shock Therapy was being fixed for freestyle. Rapidly improving Kevin Koszala took Amsoil Excaliber to the racing finals, suffering a narrow defeat but gaining new fans and experience in the process.
“I was really happy with standing up those wheelies well, then making the finals,” said Koszala. “I’m always ready for more and I’m loving driving the Amsoil Excaliber.”
Amsoil Shock Therapy closed out the show by doing a dual freestyle with Bounty Hunter just for the fans. Plenty of air, jumps off of every obstacle, and donuts were all included in another stellar run to close the night.
Now, the team heads to Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia. Stay tuned!
